Trucking - Fuel Surcharges
Due to the constant fluctuations and uncertainties in fuel costs, Uncommon Carrier will implement a separate fuel surcharge on each shipment. This surcharge is inline with the US Department of Energy's reports. We can then offer a realistic assessment for the cost of our services not related to the cost of fuel.
We monitor the national weekly average cost of fuel, released every Monday on the DOE website. We than convert the fuel price per gallon to a percentage of the total cost. Please download the fuel surcharge chart below.
